About
Sushada graduated from Thammasart University in Bangkok, Thailand with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Shortly after, her destiny took a sharp turn, when she discovered the US Beauty Industry and immersed herself into a new profession. She has been totally in love with it ever since.
Sushada has been a successful hairstylist, colorist, and entrepreneur. She is licensed in the District of Columbia with both Cosmetologist Operator and Cosmetologist Manager Licenses. She has been in the beauty salon business for more than 30 years.
Sushada is a true artist. From what she wears to the colors of her hair; her ever changing style sets her apart and creates unique fashion statements. Sushada keeps up her continuing education and follows the latest fashion trends. She loves to share her enthusiasm and fresh positive vibes with her clients.
From 1983 through the end of 2009, Sushada owned and operated Shears Hair Salon, just one and a half blocks from The White House. The salon was bright and open, displayed edgy décor, and played great music. Shears prided itself on superb customer service from the front desk, to the hairstylists, and the shampoo assistants. It was a great success and they all had a good time. As the owner of Shears Hair Salon, Sushada wishes to sincerely thank all the clients who have patronized Shears Hair Salon over the years.
2010 – Present: Since the building that housed Shears Hair Salon underwent renovations, Sushada relocated to INARI, just a block away. For now Sushada is taking care of Shears’ clients by appointment only at 1425 K Street NW, Washington DC 20005 (next to Corner Bakery at K Street and Vermont Ave., only minutes from McPherson Metro stop).
